Benefits of Membership

OWA membership is necessary to compete in OWA sanctioned weightlifting events, which include practically all weightlifting events in Ontario aside from informal club competitions. 

To Join

For all membership types, Competitive Athlete, Participation Athlete, Officials & Coaches 

Please complete the registration form by downloading it here.  If you would like one faxed to you please contact us at OWAMembership@gmail.com with your fax number.  The annual cost of membership is $60. New members are permitted to pay $30 on time fee after December 1^st.  New members must mail their application and payment to take advantage of this special rate as no discounted rates are offered through Pay Pal.  Renewals are required to pay the annual membership. Send a cheque payable to the Ontario Weightlifting Association with your completed registration form to:

Membership runs April 1st - March 31st of each calendar year.

Online:

Fill in the form and email it to OWAMembership@gmail.com. When the form and payment are received a PDF copy of the OWA membership card will be emailed to you.

There will be a $2.50 administration fee on all online payments.

Competitive Athlete $62.50                       

Participation Athlete $22.50                        

Officials $17.50                        

Coaches $17.50                         

Family* (3 or more members) $182.50

Club Registration Payment

By Mail:

Download the registration form here, complete the form and mail it to the address on the form along with your cheque.  Make cheques payable to the Ontario Weightlifting Association. You must submit a completed registration form with your payment to compete the process.
